The JH baseball tournament at Greenville has been moved up 1 hour on Saturday. We will now play at 9 & 11. Bus time also been changed by an hour.
We will leave Shumway at 7 am BC at 7:10 and Cowden at 7:20.

Picture Day at Beecher City Jr/Sr High School will be Friday, September 3rd, 2021. Order forms will be sent home. You may also order pictures online by using the code on the attached flyer.
Reminder: Students should not arrive at school before 7:45 AM., unless they have a detention or permission from an instructor, coach, or administrator. This includes students who drive on to campus as well.

Junior high softball practice for tomorrow, Thursday, August 12th, is from 3:00-5:00 at the Beecher City park.
The junior high softball game for today, Monday, August 9th, has been cancelled due to the weather conditions. The parent meeting has been postponed until after the game on Friday, August 13th.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the coaches will not be in attendance at the game on Tuesday, August 10th. Ms. Wendte and Mr. Deadmond will be coaching the team. Practice on Wednesday, August 11th, has been cancelled. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

There will be a Post Prom Fundraiser for the Junior's & Senior's Post Prom during the Beecher City Mud Drags this Saturday, July 7th from 3:00 - 9:00. Due to wet field conditions at Beecher City, the CHBC JH Baseball practice will be conducted at Cowden from Tuesday to Friday of this week. The Cowden baseball diamond is near the old school on Route 128. Practice will begin at 9 AM and end at 11 AM. Contact Coach Brock Friese (217-343-2062) if you have questions.
Attention incoming 5th grade girls: The junior high softball team is in need of more players. If you want to join the team, please come to the Beecher City park for practice on Thursday (7/29) and Friday (7/30) from 8:00-10:00.

The first CHBC Junior High Baseball practice will be Monday, August 2, from 9 to 11 AM at the Beecher City Community Park ball diamond. Incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys are welcome to attend.
The parent/coach meeting will be Tuesday, August 3, night beginning at 6 PM at the pavilion near the Kluthe Center at the Beecher City Community Park.
The USDA announced that free lunches will continue to be served to ALL students once again for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year. If you child chooses to get an extra milk ($0.35) or juice ($0.25), they will be charged for that item. If something were to change we will let you know.
However, our district is still seeking to obtain completed free/reduced lunch applications from families who would likely apply and qualify for free/reduced priced meals. It is VERY important to receive these applications in order to attain the maximum amount of federal assistance for other programs (outside of free meals) that greatly benefit our students and families. The free/reduced lunch application also determines if a student's fees will be waived.
