The first full week of school is in the books, and it has been busy. Students have been participating in tree id, Chopped - art edition, coloring cells, reading, and PE outside. Also, we have added sneak peek pictures of the east end hallway and gym floor (panoramic picture).

Attention Grade School Parents:

If your child is a parent pick-up student, they'll be bringing home a letter today along with a yellow or pink card labeled with your last name. Please take a moment to read through the letter, and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.

I'm confident this small change will help our pick-up line move faster and keep our students even safer.

Dental bus forms will be sent home with students today or tomorrow. If you are interested in your student receiving dental services, please fill out forms and have them turned into the office by Aug. 28th.

JH Softball, JH Baseball, HS Baseball, and HS Golf will have pictures taken at BCHS Thursday, Aug. 20th. Please have students bring their uniforms tomorrow.

Congratulations to Ivorly Butler-Kuhlman, our 5th grade Weekly Leader! This morning, Ivorly lead our school in morning announcements and the Pledge of Allegiance, and shared the meaning of the letter P — Take Pride — from our PAWS expectations.

The teachers and bus drivers were ready for the first day of school.

Attention Parents/Guardians:

Due to safety concerns for our students, we have implemented new procedures for morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. Please read the guidelines below for the changes for the upcoming school year. We appreciate your cooperation and attention to this matter.

CHBC HS Baseball practice starts today. Here is the schedule for the week:

Monday, Aug 10: 5-7 pm
Tuesday, Aug 11: 5-7 pm
Wednesday, Aug 12: 3-5:15 pm
Thursday, Aug 13: 3- 5:15 pm (After School and Practice Transportation Starting)
Friday, Aug 14: 3-5:15 pm

On Monday, August 10th, Miss Krissy and Miss Gail will be at the Beecher City Grade School Office from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Parents for all students (K-12) can drop off papers, pay fees, and/or get help with registration questions.

Some members of the senior class helped get BCHS ready for the 2026-2027school year by cleaning buses and trimming the landscaping. Thank you, seniors.

Golf practice will be starting Monday, August 10th. If you plan on playing but didn't sign up in the spring, please contact Beecher City Jr. Sr. High School.

Fall sports are starting. Here are the practice dates and times (if we have them):

JH Softball - July 27th - 3:30 - 5:30 PM
JH Baseball - Aug 3rd - 3:30 - 5:30 PM
HS Cross Country- Aug 13th
HS Baseball - Aug 10th
HS Volleyball - Aug 10th - 9 AM - 12PM
HS Golf - Aug 10th

All players must have an valid physical to participate in practices.

For incoming 7th and 8th graders, JH softball practice starts today! Practice will be at the Beecher City Community Park from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. Please bring physical, proof of insurance, and water. We will be taking plenty of breaks due to the heat. The parent meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 28th at 5:30 PM after practice. Please bring a pen to fill out the necessary paperwork.

Times have changed for the 2026 Junior High Baseball Camp. The camp will be held on the same dates, July 28th through July 31st, but the time will be from 3:30 to 5:30 PM at the Beecher City Community Park.
