The BCHS Drama Club went on their annual to the Fox Theater to see The Wiz on Thursday.

Our students and staff are spreading joy all week long with fun dress-up themes each day. We can’t wait to see all the festive outfits, bright smiles, and holiday spirit filling our halls!

There’s something special happening in our halls! Fifth-graders from Mrs. Brungard’s and Mrs. Wachtel’s classes are serving as wonderful reading buddies to Mrs. Lorton’s and Mrs. Summers’ first-graders. We love watching these connections grow! 💛📚



The Senior Class is selling porkburgers and having a bake sale at the high school boys basketball game Friday night. Come out and support the players and seniors at the Homecoming basketball game.

Tonight's F/S jv and varsity game vs neoga has been postponed. There will be no practice as well tonight.
Reminder there will be a 5th/6th Basketball player and parent meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 3rd @ 5:30 PM in the Cowden-Herrick Elementary Gym. Players will need a physical and to pay the athletic fee to Cowden-Herrick Schools.

Beecher City Unit #20 will be closed on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 due to road conditions. Grades K-8 will complete day one papers in their snow packets, and grades 9-12 will complete assignments on Google Classroom.

Congratulations to Rebecca Macklin and Gage Hart for being selected as 2026 Illinois State Scholars. The Illinois State Scholar program recognizes students who are in the top one-half of their graduating class and score above the 95th percentile on the ACT.
