It is Red Robbin Week at BCHS! Students are having fun with the dress up days: Country vs Country Club, Wear Red, Mismatch/Crazy Hair, and Neon Day.

Congratulations to Gage Hart for being nominated as the Daughters of the American Revolution award recipient. This prestigious honor is for any senior student who exemplifies qualities such as dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.

Mr. Hammer and Mr. Wachtel took history club members to Ft. Massac Encampment to watch French and Indian War re-enactors.

This beautiful new space provides updated classrooms and resources designed to enhance learning and collaboration. We are incredibly proud of our students and staff for their flexibility and enthusiasm during the transition.

Congratulations to Mrs. Summers on receiving the South Eastern Illinois Community Foundation Grant through the Heather Began Education Fund! Mrs. Summers was awarded $500 to support and enhance learning experiences in her classroom. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Began family for their generosity and continued commitment to supporting education.

Reminder- Next Monday (10/20/25) and Tuesday (10/21/25) the grade school will release at 1:50 PM and the high school at 2:00 PM. The grade school will not have the after school program either of these days. Parent Teacher Conferences will be from 4 - 7 pm on Monday and 2:30 - 5:30 pm on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, October 7th, juniors attended college and career day at Lake Land College. Students participated in the college fair and career break out sessions of their choice.

The 8th graders made a pixel project in art, 7th grade made bird houses in shop, and 6th grade tested paper helicopters and aluminum boats in science.
