Jr High boys basketball information letters were given to the players that signed up to indicate interest. The first practice will begin on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Cowden-Herrick High School immediately after school until 5 PM. On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, immediately following at 5 PM at the Cowden-Herrick High School, there will be a coach/parent/player basketball meeting conducted by Coach Dennis Nohren.

Students from Beecher City Jr/Sr High School traveling to Lake Shelbyville to compete in the annual EcoMeet. The JV team competed in the topics of Illinois trees, mammals, and wildflowers. The Varsity team was tested on the topics of invasive species, pond ecology, and songbirds. Thank you to Mrs. Doedtman for facilitating the students participation in this event. It was a good night celebrating our senior CHBC volleyball players. There are six senior volleyball players, and four of which are from Beecher City: Gracie Heckert, Carmen Olesen, Kaycie Stefanski, and Zia Taylor. The JV won an exciting game and the Varsity was defeated in two hard-fought matches.
