One of the best aspects of Beecher City CUSD #20 is that no one says, "That's not my job." The kitchen staff at BCHS went home due to illness, so many others stepped up to help in different ways. Get back soon, Gayla and Kierra, it took five of us to do the work that you two do everyday!

Mr. Hammer took a portion of the BC student council to the Schaefer Pumpkin Patch Saturday for some team building time. As you can see, everyone had a great time. They found out you can fit 7 students in the mini-barn! Thank you to the Schaefer's for all their hospitality!

Jr High boys basketball information letters were given to the players that signed up to indicate interest. The first practice will begin on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Cowden-Herrick High School immediately after school until 5 PM. On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, immediately following at 5 PM at the Cowden-Herrick High School, there will be a coach/parent/player basketball meeting conducted by Coach Dennis Nohren.

Students from Beecher City Jr/Sr High School traveling to Lake Shelbyville to compete in the annual EcoMeet. The JV team competed in the topics of Illinois trees, mammals, and wildflowers. The Varsity team was tested on the topics of invasive species, pond ecology, and songbirds. Thank you to Mrs. Doedtman for facilitating the students participation in this event.
