We would like to introduce you to Mrs. Drake who teaches Spanish at the Jr./Sr. High. She has been with the district for 3 years.

Mrs. Drake's favorite food is pizza, her favorite color is green, and she enjoys listening to all kinds of music. In her free time, she enjoys camping, hiking, painting, and reading.

Family: “I have been married to my husband, Jared Stuckemeyer, for fifteen years. We have three children, Jeremiah, Juliana, and Jaclyn.”
Mrs. Stuckemeyer’s favorite food is tacos, her favorite color is green, her favorite kind of music is Country and her favorite sports team “would be the Bobcats of course! Go CHBC!”. In her free time, she enjoys camping and spending time outdoors.

The Fifth Graders were challenged today to make the longest paper chain with one piece of paper, one roll of tape, and one scissors in twenty minutes.

It was a great afternoon for outside work.



Four seniors went to SIUE preview day on Monday, October 9th. Each student got the opportunity to speak with instructors from their desired career path. Students also went on a housing tour and received valuable information related to financial planning for college.

Congratulations to the CHBC Boys Junior High Cross Country team for winning the sectional meet Saturday. They are advancing to state this weekend along with Zoey Sarver from the girls team. Great job and good luck!
