We would like to introduce you to Mrs. Jessica Stuckemeyer who teaches Fourth Grade. This is her first year with the district.

Family: “I have been married to my husband, Jared Stuckemeyer, for fifteen years. We have three children, Jeremiah, Juliana, and Jaclyn.”
Mrs. Stuckemeyer’s favorite food is tacos, her favorite color is green, her favorite kind of music is Country and her favorite sports team “would be the Bobcats of course! Go CHBC!”. In her free time, she enjoys camping and spending time outdoors.

The Fifth Graders were challenged today to make the longest paper chain with one piece of paper, one roll of tape, and one scissors in twenty minutes.

It was a great afternoon for outside work.



Four seniors went to SIUE preview day on Monday, October 9th. Each student got the opportunity to speak with instructors from their desired career path. Students also went on a housing tour and received valuable information related to financial planning for college.

Congratulations to the CHBC Boys Junior High Cross Country team for winning the sectional meet Saturday. They are advancing to state this weekend along with Zoey Sarver from the girls team. Great job and good luck!

We would like to introduce you to Mrs. Herrmann who teaches Special Education at the Jr./Sr. High. She has been with the district for 8 years.
Here is some information for you to get to know her.
Family: “My husband, Jason, and I have been married for almost 6 years. We have one son, Oliver, who is 17 months old. We also have a dog named Jack, who really enjoys being Oliver's big "brother."”
Mrs. Herrmann’s favorite food is “homemade chicken and noodles. I very rarely turn down ice cream, though”, her favorite color is turquoise, and her favorite team is the Bobcats -- in whatever sport they are playing. I do enjoy the occasional Cardinals game, and I also root for the Eastern Illinois University Panthers whenever they are playing”. In her free time, she enjoys “spending time with our family members. Watching our kids play together is a true blessing. I enjoy coaching junior high softball, as well as playing softball and volleyball when I get a chance. I also really like reading and playing cards with my family when I get some down time.”

Family: “I have a husband of 13 years, and three amazing kids. Their ages are 12, 10 and 1.”
Mrs. Brungard’s favorite food is steak and potatoes, her favorite color is medium blue, and her favorite kind of music is Christian. In her free time, she enjoys hunting, fishing, and doing several different crafts including crocheting and sewing.

The Jr High Girls Basketball game vs Sigel on Thursday, October 5 will be rescheduled for Friday, November 3 at 6:00 PM.

Family: “My husband of 19 years, Doug, works as a millwright for TGM. We have three amazing and unique children. Our oldest, Ruby, is 17 years old and a senior at BCHS. Ruby plays on the basketball and softball teams as well as being a volunteer with the JHGB team. Ethel is 13 years old and in the 8th grade at BCHS. Ethel plays on the basketball and volleyball teams and enjoys making all kinds of artwork. Our youngest is 8 year old Malachi and he is in 3rd grade at BCGS. Malachi absolutely loves all sports and plays baseball for the Tri-County Royals. ”
Mrs. Stuckemeyer’s favorite food is lasagna, her favorite color is seafoam green, her favorite music is country, oldies, and church hymns, and she and her family like Sunday Night Football and any game that the BOBCATS are playing. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, riding my bike, and reading.

Family: “My husband and I have a 6 year old daughter. I also have 8 nieces and nephews.”
Mrs. Tirevold’s favorite food is pizza and pasta and her favorite color is green. In her free time, she enjoys baking, crafting and spending time with her daughter, nieces and nephews.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those impacted by the recent tragedy over the weekend. Beecher City CUSD #20 will have a team of counselors available tomorrow to support our students and staff.
