USDA Extends Summer Meals Waivers to Dec. 31, 2020
Starting on September 1, 2020 all Beecher City CUSD #20 students will receive free breakfast and lunch. The USDA is extending waivers for the Summer Meals programs through the end of this calendar year. This will allow our district to participate in the Child Nutrition Programs to continue serving free reimbursable meals to all children through Dec. 31, 2020.
The flexibilities include:
• Allowing Summer Food Service Program and Seamless Summer Option meals to be served in all areas and at no cost;
• Permitting meals to be served outside of the typically-required group settings and meal times;
• Waiving meal pattern requirements as necessary; and
• Allowing parents and guardians to pick-up meals for their children.
The USDA wants to make sure that all kids are being fed during the coronavirus outbreak

There will be a change to the lunch menu, for the grade school and high school, on Thursday, September 2nd, 2020. Instead of Country Fried Steak we will be having:
Loaded Nachos
