Students quarantined are contact tracing students as well as students with any of the following symptoms that must stay home:

• Congestion or runny nose
• Loss of appetite
• New loss of sense of taste or smell
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Abdominal pain
• Any other COVID-19 symptoms identified by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) or Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH).

Mrs. Hicks's art classes made Valentine Cards for seniors living in assisted living and long-term care facilities.
Tonight's JH Volleyball game that was supposed to be played at South Central has been cancelled. JH Volleyball will practice from 3:00-5:00 today at Cowden.
Tonight's JH Boys Basketball game that was home against South Central has been changed to home against Effingham Sacred Heart at 5:00 and will be streamed on the CHBC JH Boys Basketball page.
Tonight's HS Scholar Bowl meet with North Clay has been cancelled.
Tonight's HS Girls basketball game that was originally scheduled with Windsor/Stew-Stras has been moved to Friday, Feb. 12.
An additional HS Girls basketball game has been scheduled for 1:00 PM on Saturday, Feb. 13 at Nokomis.

In Mr. Friese’s 7th grade Science class students are studying weather factors. In this video students observed what happens to boiling water when you throw it into freezing air. Click the link to view the video.
