
2022-2023 Beecher City Jr/Sr High School Yearbooks are for sale. The price is $50.00 until the end of the year. It will go up to $60.00 beginning January 1, 2023. Yearbooks may be purchased at yearbookforever.com or from the school.

The Fourth and the Fifth Grade Classes visited the Lincoln Sites in Springfield.

Deputy Ritz was the Guest Reader in the Second Grade Room and lots of painting going on in the Art Classes today.




Senior, Ariel Stell, and 7th grader, Casey Macklin, are the September Beecher City Jr/Sr High School students of the month. Congratulations Ariel and Casey!

The pavilion near the BCHS baseball diamond is nearly complete. This multipurpose structure will serve as a concession stand, equipment storage, outdoor classroom, and picnic area.




Mrs. Doedtman and the Plant and Animal Science class have the Greenhouse rocking! Makenna with thyme, Quenton with sweet potatoes, and Alexa with lettuce.




One of the best aspects of Beecher City CUSD #20 is that no one says, "That's not my job." The kitchen staff at BCHS went home due to illness, so many others stepped up to help in different ways. Get back soon, Gayla and Kierra, it took five of us to do the work that you two do everyday!

The Fifth Graders performed experiments to determine if their substance was salt or sugar.



The Beecher City School District is looking for subs to help the janitors, cooks, or secretaries when they need a day off.
Training will be provided, you must be able to pass a back ground check, at least 21 years old, and willing to work the evening shift.

On Tuesday, October 25, and Thursday, October 27, SAFE will be presenting Internet safety information to the Beecher City 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.

Mrs. Lilly was the guest reader today in the Kindergarten, and the First Graders read with their Fifth Grade partner today.




Mr. Hammer and Mr. Wachtel chaperoned 12 History Club students on a trip to the French & Indian Grand Encampment at Fort Massac in Metropolis, IL on Sunday. Students and sponsors had a great time!





Mr. Hammer took a portion of the BC student council to the Schaefer Pumpkin Patch Saturday for some team building time. As you can see, everyone had a great time. They found out you can fit 7 students in the mini-barn! Thank you to the Schaefer's for all their hospitality!
