
Mrs. Lilly was the guest reader today in the Kindergarten, and the First Graders read with their Fifth Grade partner today.




Mr. Hammer and Mr. Wachtel chaperoned 12 History Club students on a trip to the French & Indian Grand Encampment at Fort Massac in Metropolis, IL on Sunday. Students and sponsors had a great time!





Mr. Hammer took a portion of the BC student council to the Schaefer Pumpkin Patch Saturday for some team building time. As you can see, everyone had a great time. They found out you can fit 7 students in the mini-barn! Thank you to the Schaefer's for all their hospitality!

Beecher City Jr/Sr High School sent the state bound CHBC Jr High Cross-Country team off in style!


We are accepting sealed bids on a 2007 Thomas School Bus. It is a 38' - 71 passenger bus with a Mercedes 900 MBE Engine. It has 90,XXX miles on it and is road ready. Bids will be accepted through November 1, 2022, minimum bid is $3,000.

Jr High boys basketball information letters were given to the players that signed up to indicate interest.
The first practice will begin on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Cowden-Herrick High School immediately after school until 5 PM.
On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, immediately following at 5 PM at the Cowden-Herrick High School, there will be a coach/parent/player basketball meeting conducted by Coach Dennis Nohren.


Some of our toughest Bobcat athletes are our cross-country runners. We wish the CHBC Jr High cross-country runners the best as they prepare for State! Thank you to the parents who made the amazing signs that are posted in front of Cowden-Herrick High School.





Mr. Torbeck's freshmen physical science class worked on a solubility lab today.





The Grade School Students visited the EPC to see Kasey, the fire dog. The Kasey Program teaches fire safety through song and demonstration.




It was Lunch with a Friend today at the Grade School.

Students from Beecher City Jr/Sr High School traveling to Lake Shelbyville to compete in the annual EcoMeet. The JV team competed in the topics of Illinois trees, mammals, and wildflowers. The Varsity team was tested on the topics of invasive species, pond ecology, and songbirds. Thank you to Mrs. Doedtman for facilitating the students participation in this event. Thank you to Triple Threat Athletics for creating the team shirts.





Our Preschoolers also took a trip to the Pumpkin Patch. What a fun time!

It was a good night celebrating our senior CHBC volleyball players. There are six senior volleyball players, and four of which are from Beecher City: Gracie Heckert, Carmen Olesen, Kaycie Stefanski, and Zia Taylor. The JV won an exciting game and the Varsity was defeated in two hard-fought matches.




Tri-County Fire Department visited with the Grade School Students today after a practice fire drill. Thank You, Firefighters!
