Beecher City Jr/Sr High School recently had their driveway and parking lot oiled and chipped. Afterwards, the sidewalk had a quite a bit of gravel on top of it. Senior, Carson Underwood, asked if you could sweep off the sidewalk during his study hall. He did a knock-out job and we appreciate the self-initiative he took to make things better at our school. Thank you Carson and great job being a positive leader!

Mrs. Doedtman and her Biology II and Plant/Animal Science classes were busy in the greenhouse this week. They organized and cleaned the greenhouse and did their first plantings this week. Biology II planted radishes, cabbage, and other vegetables for Fall production. Plant/Animal Science planted sweet potatoes in a large tub for Winter production. The hope is that the students' produce will be used during school lunch later this year.
